Elisa Sepulveda

Elisa Sepulveda is a General Partner at L’ATTITUDE VENTURES, where she is part of the team investing Fund III into founders building Latino-led category-defining companies. She joined the firm after a career spent on nearly every side of the startup table — as an operator, an investor, and most recently a banker — giving her a rare, full-circle view of what founders actually need at each stage of building a company.

Before L’ATTITUDE VENTURES, Elisa was Vice President of Startup Banking at JPMorgan Chase, where she served the banking needs of early-stage startups across Texas. Prior to JPMorgan, she spent five years investing in venture capital across the U.S. and Latin America as a pre-seed and seed investor with Angel Ventures Mexico and MATH Venture Partners. Her path into venture began as an operator: she helped scale startups and managed P&Ls exceeding $15 million, and she ran Founder Institute, an accelerator program focused on founder growth, which she scaled across three Texas cities. Elisa began her career at IBM in the general management rotational program and, after running talent for IBM’s Watson commercialization team, left to join the startup world. These experiences continue to shape how she partners with the founders in her portfolio today.

Elisa is an active builder of the startup ecosystem beyond her day-to-day investing. She serves as a Board Member at Alamo Angels, the most active angel group in Texas. She previously served on the Board of DivInc, a startup accelerator for underrepresented founders and as an Advisor at Austin Tech Alliance.

A passionate advocate for liberal arts education, Elisa is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College, where she studied city planning and now sits on the President’s Council. She is also a graduate of Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, where she received an MBA, and Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, where she holds a master’s in organizational psychology.

Outside of work, Elisa enjoys traveling, vegetable gardening, cooking, maintaining an active lifestyle, and spending time with her animals. She has one miniature schnauzer, two outdoor cats, and two horses that she competes with on the Texas hunter-jumper circuit.

Across every chapter of her career, Elisa has focused on the same thing: backing founders early and giving them the resources, capital, and community they need to grow.
