Gio Punzo is a technology entrepreneur, media innovator, and CEO & Co-Founder of Streann Media, a Miami-based AI video technology company transforming how media companies engage and monetize audiences.

With more than 20 years in technology and digital media, Gio has helped launch and scale disruptive technologies globally, including at LiveU, where he helped introduce live streaming technology to major broadcasters.

From the FIFA World Cup to reality shows, millions of viewers across 141 countries experience content powered by Streann’s technology. Its award-winning technology combines AI, audience engagement, intelligence, and patented monetization tools to turn passive viewers into active communities. Gio is also an inventor on Streann’s U.S. patent for monetizing video without interrupting the viewing experience.

Raised in Miami, married to a Colombian, and raising Latino children, Gio has experienced firsthand how cultures and identities are converging to create the New Mainstream in America.

Gio is a Boston University graduate and former NCAA Division I soccer player. He holds an MBA and completed a Post-MBA program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. 

He speaks English, Spanish, Italian, and “Portuñol.”
